Responsibilities in Our House

In our family, everybody has responsibilities. My mother is responsible for shopping and
doing the laundry. She works in a company, so she is very busy all day. We do our best to do the
chores and keep our house clean. When I have enough time, I help my mom to take care of my
little brother. Also, I am in charge of loading and emptying the dishwasher.
Generally cooking is mother’s responsibility, but it is not the same in our family. My father is a
great cook, so he cooks for us. I like it when he prepares meat dishes for us. Ironing and dusting
the shelves is also his duty. He really helps my mum.

My little brother Clark is 10 years old. He also helps us with the household chores. He is usually
in charge of outdoor tasks. He sweeps the leaves and takes out the garbage.
We live in a clean and peaceful house because we do all the chores together. Moreover,
nobody feels tired at the end of the day.
