Recent researches show that the usage of the Internet is increasing all over the world day by day. Because there are a
lot to do on the Internet. The Internet gives us some opportunities like browsing websites, following our favorite series,
following blogs, studying online, chatting with friends, surfing social networking sites, etc. However, this situation brings
plenty of risks together. Especially on social media, we must be careful with it. There are millions of people who use it. If
you have a social media account, strangers can send you friend
requests, they may comment on your photos and send you
messages. It may seem fun, but it isn’t. Having an online friend
is very dangerous. Because some people may pretend to be
younger or older than they are when online. So, never accept
friend requests coming from strangers or never agree to meet
them.
While you’re surfing on the other sites, try to use safe
websites. If you click on dangerous sites, your computer may get
viruses. They will harm your computer. When you read news on
the Internet, don’t believe in all the news you see. Because there
is a lot of fake news on the Internet. And, if you want to download
a file, always check it with an adult before downloading.
The Internet is not a dangerous place at all. There are some useful sites, too. You can visit them. For example, you can be a
subscriber of science or technology blogs. You can create a vlog account of yourself and share your studies or projects in
it. You can have a look at health, sports and culture sites. However, you should have control over your Internet usage.
