Exercise 2 Circle the correct choice in each sentence.

Last year I was occupied with working. I started to feel very tired. I knew I
had to leave the city / custom. I love where I live but I just needed a change.
So I decided to go abroad / holiday for a vacation.
I have been to Tanzania before for a souvenir / safari. But this time
I wanted to go somewhere in the Equator. I directed my route / rock to
Gabon and go there by plane/ ship. I didn’t want to fly because I usually
prefer watching the scenery during the journey / history.
When the ship landed, I knew that I was far from the Mediterranean, but I
felt the freedom / sadness. Releasing from my vacation / duties gave me
a big pleasure. The tropical capital / climate was just perfect.
It was very hard to find accommodation / relaxation. The hotels in the
south and north were too expensive but finally, I found a ceremony / pension in the east. Its architecture was
old-fashioned, but it was cheap.
With beautiful coasts, lakes, mountains and game parks, the country has fascinating customs / landscapes. I
was affected not only by its relaxing atmosphere but also its different customs and beliefs. At the end of my trip, I
bought some souvenirs / heritages to remember this wonderful trip.
