Changing the History
Throughout history, few people changed the destiny of the
world. Some of them weren’t well known, but all of them were
very important people. Maybe they did little things, but those
little things sometimes became greater things. For instance, the
invention of the tyre had a great impact on the world. It improved
transportation and provide people the chance to agriculture
indirectly. Moreover, you can see how technology affects the
world today. We can give lots of other examples. Let’s look at some
important figures that changed the world.
We can begin with the rabies vaccine. Its discoverer is Pasteur.
This discovery prevented the death of thousands of people. The
other one is Newton. He discovered the gravity of the matter and
today, scientists are still exploring new planets with the help of this
discovery. Besides those people, Albert Einstein did great scientific
works. He got the Nobel Prize in Physics with his theory of relativity.
When we look at today, we see Aziz Sancar and some young Turkish scientists. Aziz Sancar got the Nobel Prize in Chemistry in
2015. He is doing some research on cancer. The young ones are Şehri Sude Kahraman, who developed a project for sight-disabled
people, Efe İnan, who developed a wheel chair for paraplegic people and İlayda Şamilgil, who is doing research about space
at NASA. Briefly, we can count lots of people, but they have one common feature. They change the world.
